HOW THE JINGLE MINGLE WORKS
When you arrive at the school, line up and get a time slot for shopping in the Jingle Shop (these are every 20 minutes so the shop is not too crowded for shoppers). Don't worry if you get a later time, we don't put everything out at once and have elves making sure the tables are full and well stocked the entire evening. All items cost 1 ticket each ($1). Tickets can be pre-bought on www.munchalunch.com or at the event (cash only the night of) Tickets can also be used for all of the games / activities / bake sale / cake walk too. There will be NO REFUNDS on tickets.
How many tickets do you need? You need 1 ticket for each gift your child plans to purchase (we recommend making a list of who they are shopping for, Mom, Dad, Aunt Greta, the dog, younger brother, and possibly themselves. Tickets are also used for the Bake Sale, Games, Cake Walk, Pop & Chips, etc . . . and remember you can buy more tickets at the event.
Once you have your Jingle Shop time, feel free to Mingle around the school.
There will be games (Santa's Chimney, Spin to Win, Christmas Tree Pull) a craft table, face paint, kids raffle, bake sale, cake walk and a the Environment Club will also be selling things.
If you ordered pizza, you can enjoy it in the Jingle Cafe located at the back of the school in Mr. Earlands room. We will also be selling drinks and chips.
When it is your childs time for the jingle shop, line up by the upper primary wing (in front of the school office) and you will be allowed in to the shop (don't lose your time card - that's how we know who is shopping when). KIDS ONLY!!! There will be parents and older students to help your child shop. Once they are done shopping they will move to the library with their goodies to be wrapped. You can wait for them outside the back library door. They will typically be about 20 minutes to shop and wrap!
Parents, we haven't forgotten about you!! Feel free to bring a cookie tin and stock up on some holiday baking at the bake sale, or check out the SILENT AUCTION items and the WINE WALL. Get a family photo at the Photo Booth and enjoy catching up with friends.
We promise you will leave with full bellies, sugar highs and loads of excitement as your kids try to not spill the beans on what they bought you, haha!
It will be busy and bustling but a good time for all. We recommend wearing your baby instead of bringing a stroller. Stay for an hour, stay for the entire night, totally up to you. Don't worry if you can't get there right at 5 pm, we won't run out of anything.
